Inspiration for your Bookstagram Aesthetics

Bookstagram is what you make it… as long as you are creating something you love…other people will love it too.

Bookstagram aesthetics help you stand out and make a lasting impression! In this visually-driven world, having a captivating and consistent aesthetic on Bookstagram can make all the difference in attracting and engaging your audience.

In this blog post, we’ve created a list of Bookstagram accounts with aesthetics that we love! We're confident that these Bookstagram feed themes will provide you with plenty of inspiration for your own account!

We love Taiya Collier’s checkboard layout! Checkerboard grids alternate between two post types or two colors. Most Instagram profiles alternate between photos and quotes. Talia also uses vibrant colors that go well together as a whole, giving her account a cohesive and beautiful look!

We asked her what her inspiration behind her account’s vibe was, and she said her goal is to curate an Instagram that beautifully captures her essence and personality. As a teen author, it’s important for her to make sure her feed exudes vibrant colors and style, all while authentically reflecting her journey as a young writer and shattering the norms set by traditional authors on social media!

Searching for a cozy, peaceful vibe? Check out Dori’s bookstagram account! She uses the lightroom app to edit her pictures, and we adore the pinkish hues of her aesthetic! It’s a great idea to have a consistent look throughout your bookstagram accounts, which is definitely the case for Dori’s instagram. She also edits some of the photos with her book reviews, making use of the white space in her photos to put in some elements such as stars and words, which looks amazing!

Megan Davies, a historical romance writer, also makes use of a checkerboard layout! She alternates between photos and graphics. We love the cohesive look of her account, and the graphics that she posts are white text on top of photo with a dark blue overlay. These graphics are usually the ‘cover’ to a carousel post, which is an amazing way to relay valuable content to your followers!

She uses Canva to edit her graphics, which if one of the best apps out there to create post templates with your particular branding and style!

Bookstagrammer and writer Diayll has amazing feed goals! We are obsessed with her cozy bookstagram aesthetic which has a vibrant and warm vibe. We asked her for some tips and she said to experiment and don’t be afriad to try new things! She adds, “To some less is more, but I love creating elaborate setups and pushing myself to my creative limit. And a lot of that came from pure trial and error in a search to find a look that I connected with and loved.”

Other helpful tips she had is that lighting is always key to a good picture, and that props don’t have to be expensive!
